The RAVENHILL sermon

"The Church has become so carnal...

the glory of the Lord doesn't fill the temple.

I don't believe the modern Christians

come to church to meet God.

They come to church

to hear a sermon about God."

-- Leonard Ravenhill

If you like straight sermons, on the integrity of GOD's WORD, and on church revival, you will like David Wilkerson, Charles Stanley, and Paul Washer.

I was, therefore, not surprised to know they were influenced by Leonard Ravenhill, the English Christian evangelist.

It was only three days ago that I got to listen to a Ravenhill sermon.

It was so wonderful, that I began taking notes.

The quotes can be found on most of these posts.

These shaped the articles we wrote.

As always, SPIRIT's hand was in it.

Before you know it, 11 articles were created.

Which served as pillars for this new blog.

SPIRIT also triggered awakening in me.

It was time for church revival.

Christian churches are in deep need of revival.

They seem to have lost their moral compass.

Even America has forgotten her Christian beginnings.

They have given in to the distractions of the world.

Ravenhill's sermon was timely for me.

For SPIRIT took my work to the next level.

Now, we take note of what happens to churches.

The enemy has infiltrated the church.

The church is the BODY of CHRIST.

Believers are the body of Christ.

Believers are born again.

Believers are Berean.

Acts 17:10-11

King James Version

10 And the brethren immediately sent away

Paul and Silas by night unto Berea:

who coming thither

went into the synagogue of the Jews.

11 These were more noble

than those in Thessalonica,

in that they received the word

with all readiness of mind,

and searched the scriptures daily,

whether those things were so.
